The Benefits of Natural Living

Do you actually know what ingredients are used in your skin care products?

It has been proven that you can improve your overall health and wellness by embracing a life centered on natural living. The everyday products we use daily from big box stores can actually harm our bodies with damaging ingredients we can’t pronounce or even understand, let alone know what they are for. When using natural products, you can read and understand what you are using on your skin.

Natural ingredients can help improve your wellbeing, improve skin issues, and leave you feeling nourished. Certain scents can help you improve your overall mental well-being, develop a happier mindset, become more grounded, reduce stress, and feel more at peace. We live such busy lives; it’s nice to know there are alternatives.

By reducing chemical skin/hair care products and switching to all-natural ones, you will notice the results of healthier hair, skin, and nails. Everyday products from the store are full of chemicals, which strip away your natural oils, leaving you with dry skin and chemically coated hair, taking away your natural shine. Who wants that? Natural products nurture not only your skin but your hair. It will give your appearance a healthier glow and a healthier bounce to your hair.

When you reduce the use of chemical products by switching to a natural routine, you will notice a result from the oils, butters, and essential oils that your skin, hair, and nails need. The first thing I noticed when I started using my shampoo bar was that my hair was fuller and very soft. Another wonderful benefit of handmade, all-natural products is the contribution you will make to the environment. There is less waste, making it eco-friendly.

Your skin is the largest organ you have and will absorb most of what you put on it. It only makes sense that you want to keep it safe. Switching to homemade products, as I make, you know you are putting simple, pure ingredients onto your body. You will see and feel a difference.

You should know your ingredients and understand their benefits when buying an all-natural product. Store-bought soap often contains artificial ingredients, colors, and smells, with some ingredients being toxic. Many of their ingredients are artificially made. It’s up to you to decide what is healthy for your skin and hair and for those you love.

The main reason I started Charlene’s All Natural, making soap, and now branching outward, was because I wanted to know exactly what I was using on my body and the overall health benefits. I suffer from RA along with a variety of other issues. There are so many benefits from oils, butters, and essential oils that help your skin naturally. Each ingredient has specific properties. They can even help with allergies and skin problems, such as eczema and psoriasis. I have so far had positive feedback, and I personally have noticed a huge difference in my skin and hair. I don’t feel or miss the itchy or dry skin anymore. My hair? The difference is amazing.

Since making natural soaps, I have learned about the different ways to use the oils and what their properties are. People are suffering from using commercial products. Many essential oils can help with a variety of problems, even anxiety; for instance, lavender is known to relieve anxiety, Frankincense and Myrrh are excellent anti-inflammatories. The main oils and butters have their own benefits as well.

Don’t be afraid to go natural. My soap bars last longer and contain beneficial ingredients that will work naturally with your skin. There are different soaps with different expectations. I’m here to help, and if I don’t know, I will find the answer for you.

Go now and read your shampoo bottle. The ingredients are long words you probably can’t pronounce. What benefits do they have? When you use natural skin care products, you can understand the names of the ingredients, plus there are many beneficial oils that will leave you feeling fresh, nourished, and moisturized with no artificial colors or ingredients.

SPECIAL NOTE: If you are pregnant, please talk to your doctor before using any essential oil products first.

Wishing you a peaceful day, and don’t be afraid to try and do something new and healthy for you and your family.

Peace be with you, and remember to always play nice.
