    Essential Oils

    Essential oils are different than fragrance oils. They are plant-derived through steam distillation. Essential oils are powerful and not all are recommended for pregnant women.

    Natural Colorants

    What is Cold Process?

    A traditional way where oils and fats are combined with lye (sodium-hydroxide) at room temperature, resulting in a chemical reaction called saponification that creates soap. water, and glycerin, without the need for external heat.

    What is Hot Process?

    Hot process soap often has a more rustic look compared to cold process, which some soapmakers find appealing. It allows the chemical reaction to complete immediately.
